Frequently asked questions
Do you offer airbrush services?
I do not offer airbrush services. Although I am familiar with airbrushing, I enjoy using traditional makeup for better precision and more control.
How long does the makeup last?
Normally, a full makeup application lasts anywhere between 7- 10 hours. It depends on a lot of factors including face touching, sweat, humidity, water/crying, and skin oiliness. I will try my best to make it last as long as possible, but I cannot guarantee a definite time limit for your makeup. I do offer retouching services for this purpose. I also give my clients advice on how to maintain their look and retouch on their own.
Do you do hair? If not, do you have hair stylist recommendations?
Unfortunately, I do not offer hair services at this time. I do have a referral discount with Sarah of DC Bridal Hair of 10-15% off services (Based on availability).
What should I expect for my bridal trial run?
Bridal trial runs include an initial consultation, skin preparation, one full makeup application, and on-site travel to your location. I will consult with you on what type of look you'd like to achieve. During and after your trial run, I encourage you to tell me any adjustments you want. If there are adjustments you want to make, I record the feedback to ensure we achieve the perfect look on your wedding day!
What type of makeup do you use?
I use a wide range of makeup. Mainly brands that are carried from Sephora. A couple of brands I use are Nars, Urban Decay, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Viseart, Laura Mercier, and NYX.
How do I book an appointment?
Please go to the "Bookings" section of the menu. Fill out the form, and I will get back to you within 24-48 hours. An appointment is only guaranteed when I receive both a signed contract and a 25% deposit.
What are your safety and hygiene procedures?
Due to COVID-19, I will be wearing a mask for all of my appointments. I also wash my hands before and after the appointment. I only allow one other person in the room besides my client, and they have to be at least six feet from both my client and me.
Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?
Yes, all are welcome.
