Let’s chat about almond shaped eyes!

My client has almond shaped eyes 🤎 and instead of trying to make them rounder, we decided to enhance the look of them by lining the waterline in black, elongating the shadows, adding a smokey wing, and adding lashes that flared towards the ends. Instead of trying to mold her eyes into something they’re not, we played into this more sultry and cat eye effect. I thought it turned out amazing, and my client loved it! 🥰

My goal is to never mask your beautiful features but to enhance them. Let me know what you think of this look!

What you can start doing now to prepare for your spring wedding! 🩷🌸🌷

1. Start getting your facials! Before my wedding, I got one facial per month and my skin felt amazing and so hydrated. You never want to get a facial for the first time too close to your wedding in case you have an allergic reaction. 🧖‍♀️

2. Apply your skincare religiously. Every. Single. Night. If you want that “no makeup, makeup” look, then you have to make sure your skin is supple, hydrated, and glowy. Also, don’t forget your sunscreen! 🧴

3. Take care of yourself. Drink water, eat nourishing foods, exercise (even if it’s walking!) and set some time for self-care. As a former 2024 bride of TWO weddings, I understand the stress and exhaustion that comes with wedding planning, but you gotta put yourself first! Prioritize setting aside some time to get a massage, read a book, paint, watch a movie, play Wordle, whatever it is, you’ll thank yourself later! 😘

My 2025 spring brides, I’m looking forward to this upcoming wedding season with you all! If there’s anything I can do to help put you at ease, please don’t hesitate to reach out! No question is too big or too small 🥰

My client has never gotten her makeup done professionally and doesn’t wear makeup regularly. Therefore, it was very important that I am thorough with expectations and get to the bottom of the look she envisions for her special day.

If this sounds like you, don’t worry! You’re not alone! This is why you’re looking to hire me right? ✅

While makeup is for everyone, makeup styles are not a one-size-fits-all, which is why the first part of our appointment is the consultation. 💬

The consultation can range from about 15-20 minutes alone! I’m asking a lot of questions to get to know your skincare routine, what tones you like, what concerns or pain points you may have, what your wedding colors are, whether you will have flash photography, etc. ❓

The actual makeup application takes about an hour. As I’m applying each step or layer of makeup, I’m checking in to ensure you’re happy with the direction. I’m also getting to know you! I want to hear how you fell in love with your fiancé, where your honeymoon is, your favorite foods, and all the fun stuff! 🌴

Lastly, I check in one last time asking if you’d like any modifications after the look is complete. If there are changes we need to make, I’ll do them at this time. After you’re happy with the look, I take photos, videos, and notes to ensure I remember what to use to replicate your look for your big day. 📸

And just like that an hour and 45 minutes has been used up! Crafting bespoke beauty requires time, care, and intentionality, ensuring every detail makes you feel the best for your special day! 🩷😮‍💨
